Ken McDonald, Senior Pastor

Rev. Ken McDonald, a graduate of Holmes Theological College and Seminary, accepted the call to First Baptist Church Wagener in September of 2015.  He most recently ministered in Aiken and has pastored churches in Canada and across the states.  Pastor Ken and his wife Nelly have five children and three grandchildren.

Britta Carver, Music and Senior Adult Ministry

Britta Carver has been serving at FBC for over ten years, leading our music ministry and our senior adult ministry.  Britta has a heart for people and a desire to serve.  Britta and her husband have recently become empty-nesters.

Pat Alger joined the staff of FBC in early 2010.  Pat has a strong love of the Lord and a desire to serve.  Pat keeps the office running orderly and is usually the person you'll first speak with if you call the church office.

Ross Smith joined WFBC in 2006.  For the last 8 years he has been involved in the youth program.  He now joins the staff to help lead our youth to know the Lord.  He is married to Jen Smith and has two adorable children, Ross and Libby, and three dogs.  He enjoys playing golf and coaching baseball.

Cindy served as a church organist for twenty-eight years before joining FBC Wagener in August 2017.  Cindy feels led to share her love of sacred music with her church family and prays that the music she shares will touch at least one heart.  Until recently, Cindy enjoyed raising and training horses --- not to mention exploring God's glorious creation on horseback.  Now, in her free time, she enjoys quilting, embroidery, and time at a keyboard.
